Private Spaces


Cronulla RSL offers 2 areas for Private Events. Bookings are now open for Soldiers on the Esplanade, due for completion in December 2018. The Gerrale Room is available now. Complete the contact form on this page to enquire today.

SOLDIERS ON THE ESPLANADE

The Summer of 2018-19 will see Level 1 of the Club re-open as a completely repurposed space. “Soldiers on the Esplanade” is set to become a premier beachside event destination.

 

The largest beachfront venue in the area, this multi-purpose room will seat up to 300 guests in its full room layout, enjoying views beyond the Esplanade and out across the waves of South Cronulla beach.

THE GERRALE ROOM

Perfect for more intimate gatherings, The Gerrale Room is conveniently situated adjacent to Reception. This light filled room enjoys views across the greens and has its own private bar facilities.

 

A room hire fee of $500 applies to all bookings in The Gerrale Room and includes 5 hours private hire, bar attendants, wait staff, set up, cleaning and use of audio visual equipment

A room hire fee applies to all wakes, and covers the following:

  • 3 hours private room hire
  • Bar attendants
  • Wait staff
  • Set up & cleaning
  • Free high-speed Wi-Fi
  • Use of our state of the art audio-visual equipment including: Microphone, Data projector, Screen and iPod connectivity

 

Additional AV items may be brought in, or arranged upon request for an additional service fee.

Reserved Spaces


On a smaller scale, we also offer an array of reserved spaces that may be hired in our public space.

THE DECK

Overlooking the rolling waves of Cronulla beach, our recently refurbished deck is now the ultimate covered outdoor location.

 

Reserved spaces are available on the Deck 7 days from March throughout September. During the Summer months the Deck is available Monday to Wednesday.

THE CABANA

Occupying prime location in the Sunroom right in front of the windows, The Cabana features a combination of banquette seating and individual armchairs and is great for small gatherings in a less formal setting.

 

Located indoors, this area still enjoys spectacular views across South Cronulla beach.

THE TERRACE

The Terrace sits between The Deck and Sunroom on the raised eastern platform beside the stairs.

 

Attendees will enjoy the best of both worlds with easy access to bars in both directions, raised views over Cronulla beach, and the relaxed ease of tall tables with comfortable stools.

PRIVATE DINING

This semi private dining space at the southern end of Level 4 seats up to 38 people on 3 gorgeous marble tables. White panelled walls, light timber flooring and nautical fixtures together create a Hamptons inspired space that lends itself perfectly to intimate gatherings.

 

The room features a flat screen LCD TV, spectacular views across the ocean and full iPod connectivity.

Our Sharing Platters may be arranged for bookings on The Deck, The Cabana or The Terrace. Our sharing platters may be arranged for bookings in these areas by prior arrangement, or guests may order from Watergrill directly.

 

A reservation fee of $200 applies to all bookings onThe Deck, The Cabana or The Terrace and ensures exclusivity of your designated area for 3 hours and your own bar attendant.

 

A bar tab can also be pre-arranged prior to your function or on the day with your bar attendant.
